• BabelScores-contemporary music online BabelScores is a digital platform with scores of contemporary compositions from the last 40 years (currently around 3,000 titles) and additional audio recordings.
• Bach digital The Bach digital portal offers a digital library with complete scans of works from a database of handwritten sources of compositions by the Bach family. It also includes a work catalogue of the Bach family.
• Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra – Digital Concert Hall Personal registration must be done from within the campus of the Anton Bruckner Private University. After that, you will have external access to all the contents of the Digital Concert Hall.
• Brockhaus Knowledge Service The Brockhaus online
• Bruckner-online bruckner-online.at is a comprehensive Anton Bruckner internet portal (web archive), which contains not only the electronic documentation of handwritten sources but also compositions, relevant persons and places. In addition, complete digital copies of all manuscripts, first editions and the old complete edition are provided.
• Cambridge Companions to Music This collection contains English-language introductions to musicians and musical topics in full text.
• Dance in Video Includes dance productions and documentaries by the most influential artists and dance companies of the 20th century. The selection covers ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, experimental and improvisational dance, as well as the precursors of modern concert dance.
• DBIS-Database Information System Offers access to a wide range of scientific online databases from all subject areas. Among others, the RISM database (International Inventory of Musical Sources) can be accessed via DBIS.
• EZB The Electronic Journal Library is a platform for the effective use and clear presentation of scientific full-text journals on the internet.
• Grove (Oxford Music Online) The Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians is the most important English-language music encyclopaedia.
• Händel-Gesamtausgabe by Friedrich Chrysander To date, the most complete complete edition of Handel's works.
• International Music Score Library Project (Petrucci Music Library) Virtual library of public-domain scores and sheet music collections.
• International Journal of Community Music The International Journal of Community Music publishes research articles, practical discussions, current reviews, letters to the editor and special issues on all aspects of community music. Full-text access: Vol.10.2017-Vol.12.2019 and from Vol.16.2023

• Musikland – Niedersachsen (Music Land – Lower Saxony): Download teaching materials on ‘Improvisation zu Gast im Klassenzimmer’ (Improvisation in the Classroom).
• Music Online: Classical Scores Library This sheet music database from Alexander Street Press offers you thousands of copyrighted editions to download and print, with a focus on new music from the 20th century.
• Musiconn A comprehensive research tool for searching for research literature and materials on musicology is available to you.
• NAXOS Music Library Classic Audio streaming portal for classical music (approx. 1.4 million tracks from over 97,000 CDs)
• New Mozart Edition: Digitised Version Contains the musical text and critical reports of the New Mozart Edition.
• Open Dissertations Database from EBSCO and BiblioLabs with more than 800,000 free electronic theses and dissertations (mainly in English). NOTE: in some cases, only the abstracts are accessible, not the full texts of the works
• Oxford Handbooks Online Music Access to all e-books since 2021. These handbooks were written by renowned scholars who each introduce a sub-discipline of the field of music.
• Österreichisches Musiklexikon online (oeml) The fundamental reference work on music and musical life in Austria in all its facets
• plainsightSOUND Music research project that aims to rediscover colonial and postcolonial voices in British classical music.
• Research Catalogue an international database for artistic research
• RILM Abstracts of Music Literature with Full Text Full-text articles from over 200 musicological journals + approx. 1 million bibliographic records
• RISM (Répertoire International des Sources Musicales) About 700,000 entries for research into musical sources (mainly historical handwritten sheet music written before 1800)
• University Press Scholarship Online By selecting ‘Book’ in the left menu bar, over 900 music-related books from Oxford Academic are displayed in full text. The books are in English. The collection is constantly being expanded and also includes all e-books from the ‘Oxford Handbooks Online Music’ series since 2021.
