Life in Upper Austria
Rich in mountains, lakes and forests, Upper Austria offers valuable space for fresh ideas and young minds alongside its diverse and unique landscapes and culture. As a centrally located state, it is easy to get to know and enjoy Austria in its entirety thanks to the Westbahn train line and the a well-developed public transport network.
Upper Austria has worked hard to earn its reputation as a "culture country", and with its state music schools it is regarded throughout Europe as a model state for music education. The Upper Austrian government supports artistic education in particular, which is why the Anton Bruckner Private University tuition is extremely moderate in comparison to other equivalent institutions.
