Instruction includes 1 weekly hour of instruction in the major subject, as well as the obligation to participate in one orchestral production per year (orchestral instruments).
Time limit: If a place at the university is available, admission can be granted for 2 semesters. Upon request via e-mail, the extracurricular studies can be extended for a maximum of 2 further semesters.
Important Information
The guest student programme in an artistic subject is aimed at people who cannot be admitted to the ABF programme (Pre-College) for reasons of age or because they live outside Upper Austria, or who cannot start a full BA or MA degree programme.
The guest student programme in an artistic subject is only granted in exceptional cases; please contact the Student Service (studiumtyrbrucknerunirat) before applying so that it can be clarified in advance whether the criteria apply to you.
