Sarah Kronawittleithner was born in 1977 Melbourne, Australia and studied at The Victorian College of the Arts University of Melbourne where she graduated with a Bachelor of Dance. 

Her first appearance as a professional ballet dancer was in 1997 with The West Australian Ballet and Queensland Ballet companies. She then travelled to Europe in 1998 where she performed in both traditional ballets and contemporary dance productions with Oper Graz, Vienna Chamber Ballet, Bremerhaven Stadttheater, Theater St Gallen and Landestheater Linz. Her dancing career saw her performing as a soloist on several European stages throughout Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland while working with many prestigious artistic directors and choreographers such as Jörg Mannes, Richard Wherlock, Mauro Bigonzetti, Nils Christie, Darrel Toulon, Jonathan Taylor, Barry Moreland, Harold Collins, Linda Papworth, Christine Comtesse and Phillip Egli.

Alongside her dancing career, Sarah choreographed for musicals and operettas at the Oper Graz, Landestheater Linz, Bad Hall Landestheater, Komödienspiele Schloss Tilysburg and the Lübecker Sommerfestspiele. Works included ‘Turnandot’, ‘Robin Hood‘, ‘Tapetenwechsel‘, ‘Die Geschichte von braven Soldaten Schwejik‘, ‘Der Lebkuchenmann‘ and ‘Die Lustige Witwe‘.

Sarah’s pedagogical career has sent her across Austria, Germany, Ireland and Australia teaching workshops, seminars, summer school programs and company classes for more than 15 years. Additionally, in 2012, she became founder and director of European Dance Tours; educating and mentoring dance groups and individuals from Canada, Australia and Ireland with tours, workshops and auditions organised throughout Europe. 

In 2018 Sarah completed a Master of Arts degree majoring in Movement Studies and Performance (Dance Pedagogy) at Anton Bruckner Private University under the supervision of Univ. Prof. Mag. Rose Breuss and Dr. Univ. Prof Claudia Jeschke. 2019 she became a faculty member of the Institute of Dance Arts at the Anton Bruckner Private University as course leader of the Academy of Contemporary Dance and Ballet (AZB – Lehrgang) as well as lecturer and teacher in the Bachelor and Master programs for Ballet, Dance Studies and Colloquium.
