Pre-College
The Pre-College (ABF) is a cooperative project of the Upper Austrian music schools and is run as a preparatory course.
The cooperation partners are the Anton Bruckner Private University (ABPU), the Upper Austrian State Music School (LMSW), the Music School of the City of Linz and the Upper School for Music Students on Stifterstraße.
The aim of the Pre-College is to professionally prepare highly motivated and particularly talented young people aged 12 to 19 for artistic and/or pedagogical music studies.
Tuition fees for the ABF are to be paid to the institution where the main subject instruction takes place, i.e. either to the Anton Bruckner Private University or to the State Music School. Additional offers within the framework of this scholarship programme and other central artistic subjects taken are exempt from tuition fees.
